a historical collection of recipes from the Genesee Valley, Monroe County, New
York, written by Angelina Jenkins Mumford (daughter of William Woolsey &
Angelina Jenkins Mumford).
Many of the 336
recipes are modern (from the early 1900's) and some, the author thought worthy
of preserving, were over 100 years old at the time of writing.
The major
divisions in the book are: Soups, Meats, Hashes, Vegetables; Puddings, Pies and
Salads; Breads; Cake; Preserved Fruits, Jellies; Pickles, Lotions and
Miscellaneous.
