Description: As I mentioned before, Ramadan and the Quran are inseparable. One of the ways to prepare for Ramadan is to pay more attention to the Quran (and by “pay attention”, I do NOT mean reciting the Quran without tajweed and understanding) as we need to accompany this book more often during Ramadan.
So, it would be a good idea for us to read about the Quran’s virtues. Here is a very simple yet comprehensive book on this issue: The Book of Allah and its Magnificent Status.
It’s written by the current Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Abdul Azeez Aal Ash-Shaikh. And just for your information, he reached this high level of knowledge despite being blind! His predecessor, Shaikh Ibn Baz (rahimahullah) was also blind, by the way. I think this should be enough to take away all of our excuses for not seeking knowledge.
